Indonesia, April 29, 2025 – The Indonesian Society of Engineering and Technology (ISET) in partnership with the Indonesian Electrical Engineering and Informatics Research Association (ARTEII) organized the Conference & Call for Paper themed Use of AI in Engineering. The event, conducted online, was officially opened by Dr. Ir. Sri Poernomo Sari, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng. (ISET, Indonesia) and Dr. Eng. Ir. Wahyu Amien Syafei, S.T., M.T., IPM. (Diponegoro University, Indonesia), who stressed the urgency of embracing AI in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era.
Keynote speaker Dr. Nur Sultan Salahuddin, S.Kom., M.T. (Gunadarma University, Indonesia) presented The Future of Engineering: Improving Innovation and Efficiency Through Artificial Intelligence, outlining strategies to integrate AI for accelerating innovation and improving operational efficiency.
Dr. Dharmayanti (Gunadarma University, Indonesia) addressed Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0, emphasizing AI’s ability to support intelligent and sustainable manufacturing systems.
Zahra Nabila Salahuddin Putri, S.Ars., A.B., M.A. (ISET, Indonesia) discussed Elevating Architectural: How AI Enhances Visualization, showing how AI enables architects to create more accurate and immersive design visualizations. Rana Sakha Salahuddin Putri, S.Ars., A.B., M.A. (ISET, Indonesia) continued with AI in Architecture: Designing the Future, exploring how AI can generate adaptive and forward-thinking architectural concepts.
Dr. T. Aditya Sai Srinivas (Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering, India) presented From Reactive to Proactive – How AI Prevents Failures and Boosts Efficiency, highlighting AI’s predictive maintenance capabilities. Dr. Sheik Mohamed, S.H., Ph.D., M.Phil. (St. Thomas College of Arts and Science, Chennai, India) concluded the presentations with AI in Visual Communication Education, revealing AI’s role in reshaping creative learning in visual arts.
Moderated by RR. Putri Ana Nurani, S.S., M.M., C.Ed., C.Med. (Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia) and hosted by Dr. Intan Kusumawati, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta, Indonesia), the conference not only delivered academic insights but also opened opportunities for international collaboration in AI and engineering research.
